Meenakshi disclosed that corruption was one of the key reasons she moved to the U.S. after marrying Harish in 1995. She explained, “I met Harish in 1995, and I felt he was the right life partner for me. He even moved to India for a year to try and build his career here, just for me, so that I could stay connected to my roots while continuing my acting and dancing. However, within that one year, the atmosphere here, especially the corruption, became unbearable for him. That’s when we decided to shift to the U.S.”
